Figma Plugin ("Send to Expo Studio")

If you use our Figma plugin, it sends the frame you select from your Figma file to your organization's Expo Studio space. What is sent: image renders of that frame and its parts; the frame's layer structure, including layer names, types, visibility, opacity, position, size and rotation, and the types of fills, strokes and effects applied; the text content of any text layers in that frame; and the names of the Figma file and page the frame came from. The plugin reads only the frame you select. It does not read other frames, other pages, or other files, and it has no access to your Figma account. To render a layer that is hidden or partly transparent, the plugin briefly duplicates that layer inside your file, makes the duplicate visible, renders it, and deletes it. Your original layers are never altered. In a file other collaborators have open, this duplicate may be visible for the moment it exists. The plugin connects using a pairing code issued by your Expo Studio team. That code is limited to one space and to importing pages, and it expires. What you send is stored in your own Expo Studio space and is not shared with any third party. The plugin communicates only with Expo Studio's own servers. The plugin sends this data only to cdn.expostudio.co, a server operated by Expo Studio, and only when you press Send.
